Where the Bush Talks Business

If Queensland agriculture is your interest, the Rural Press Club (RPC) of Queensland is interested in you.

The Rural Press Club of Queensland is a dynamic association of rural media, public relations, agriculture, business and government groups that was established over 40 years ago.

It's the essential forum to expand your professional networks, reach people of influence and outrun the herd on agricultural news, people and trends. Rub shoulders with the influencers in Queensland agriculture at the Club’s monthly events in Brisbane and around the State. Leave with fresh ideas and new connections.

These popular monthly functions are a highlight of the Club’s calendar. They feature engaging expert speakers who put the spotlight on the important topics that matter to the people and industries of rural Queensland.

The Club also supports and promotes the profession of rural journalism through its annual rural media awards, Rural Journalism Hall of Fame and other initiatives.

The Rural Press Club (Queensland) Inc is an apolitical, not for profit organisation that is established with its own constitution outlining the Club’s objectives, membership, management committee, and related rules.

The RPC is affiliated with other state-based rural journalist organisations such as:

RPC is also a member of the Australian Council of Agricultural Journalists (ACAJ) and the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ).
